Windows & MSN Messager

Paul

Have a bit of problem trying to start a video
conversation between 2 PC, one running WIN2000 and MSN
messager 6.1, the other Win XP Home and win messager 4.7
Both audio and text communication work, just the video
does not.

Any ideas

Greetings Paul,

Unfortunately Windows 2000 only supports MSN Messenger 6.1's "Webcam" support and does not
support Windows Messenger's "Start Camera" or "Start Videoconference" functionality (what
it's referring to in MSN Messenger 6.1 running under Windows XP). As such, the Windows XP
user will need to install MSN Messenger 6.x and use that client instead in order to have
video support:

You could also use Netmeeting instead, but it's probably not worth the work involved.
