Windows Movie Maker

Hi...

Probably a dumb question but I no longer can find Win Movie Maker on my PC
after reinstall of WinXP ops sys after core hardware change (WinXP SP3) from
disk.

Attempting to find a standalone version of Win Movie Maker (not bundled in
SP2 download) has proved impossible. Does it exist?

If not, can you recommend a similar Win Movie Player (vers 11) editor? And,
I'm also interested in creating content for YouTube type movies. Is that
software on YouTube?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions, help.

Regards,

Tom

Movie Maker 2.1 is included with Win XP SP2
and SP3....there is not a separate download.
Copies of version 2.0 can be found but it would
be best to stay with 2.1.

First...try going to...Start / Run...and type or
copy/paste moviemk.exe and press Enter.
If Movie Maker is installed...it will launch.

Also you could try navigating to C:\Program Files\
Movie Maker\moviemk.exe

If Movie Maker needs to be reinstalled...the
following info may be useful:

Thank you, John.....

That's a bingo on searching for "moviemk.exe" file......it was installed
just not shown on "Start/Programs" bar in WinXP....but is listed in
c:\Programs as well. Didn't even think about checking there as I've never
not had in the Start/Programs location.

Now off to YouTube to learn how to convert wmv and mp4 video to YouTube
(guessing they are Flash movies)?

Thanks for you help.......
