Windows Movie Maker Probs

clips play great in the collections window until inserted
into the storyboard.
they then are skipping and hesitating. I am using NTSC
based video with Windows Movie Maker 2. why does this
happen and what can I do to
correct this?

Hey I'm having this same problem. I just tried to go to
papajohn.org as some suggest, but apparently that site has
been down since late last month. I've seen other people
ask this same question but have yet to see an answer.
Someone mentioned "tuning up" your hard drive speed, but
I'm not sure what that means. I don't get it, because
mine never used to do this and just started doing it one
day. I'm trying uninstalling anything I've installed in
recent weeks. Maybe that'll do it.
