Windows Movie Maker has stopped working

"A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close
the program and notify you if a solution is available." <<CLOSE Program>>

I get this everytime I start the program. It shows the last project I was
working on with 2 clips I imported from a personal, non-commercial DVD.
Obviously something is corrupted somewhere.

What is best approach to reset this so I can try to do the work I need to do?

Vista, current all updates, running on Dell Inspiron 1525 3 Gig.

Might be worth a try to do a System
Restore to a time before this occurred.
