Windows Movie Maker has stopped working

Everything seems to work well until I try to publish the movie. I get a popup
that says Windows Movie Maker has stopped working then it shuts down. I'm
using Vista. I tried MM2.6 and when I try to publish the same movie I get a
warning that says I don't have enough room to publish the movie or the files
can't be located etc. I also used reg cure and to no avail. Could I really
have almost 300 errors on this new computer???

What are the file types used in your project? Although this page is XP
based, it does seem to still be true some of the time for vista

They are all jpg pictures

Could try converting them to a bitmap format like tiff.

I converted the jpg's to bitmap and it now saves and burns to dvd fine but it
won't save to the computer. It's really too bad that all the money Bill Gates
has they don't seem to be able to make a program that works,, can you say
plug and play boys and girls.. thanks for your help..
