Windows Movie Maker 2.1 Download

I've been to this page
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/moviemaker2.mspx and
all I see is it telling me "Movie Maker 2.1 is available for download with
Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2)."

Is there no way to get this separate from SP2? I have no desire to put it on
my system yet, but I would like to try Moviemaker 2.1.

I kinda like to be secure on the PC I have all my photos and video on - I'm
not sure what the downside is other than time to download.

I lost my Help files for this program when done installing SP2; during the
chatter with the Tech Support Department there was a mention of going to a
strictly Tech Site for download - I would contact the Tech Support directly
and see if available; assume you already have Movie Maker 2 or previous
versions; if not, doesn't hurt to ask, right??

I found it by clicking Start / Run ... typing moviemk.exe and press ENTER

Wow. It worked. I couldn't find it by running a search on the computer
(Windows XP), even when I searched for moviemk.exe, but your method worked!
Microsoft, why did you hide this file from users?! makes no sense!

Might be MS did not hide the file from you.

I have no problem finding a couple of copies of moviemk.exe on my computer
using Windows regular search tool.

C:\Program Files\Movie Maker

C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386

What are your settings in Tools>Folder Options>View under Files and Folders?

Perhaps you have restrictions on what the search can find.
