Unable to Download Movie Maker

All of the Microsoft.com "Download" pages or Movie Maker say that Movie Maker
2.1 is included in XP Service Pack 2 (which I successfully downloaded months
ago), but I do not have Movie Maker on my machine anywhere. Is there
another step to the downlaod / activation process?? Do I need a prior
version to get 2.1?
Thanks.

You may be correct, but just as an
experiment...type or copy/paste the
following at...Start / Run...and press
enter.

moviemk.exe

Also...if you right click your My Computer
icon...and from the menu choose...
Properties / General tab...does it say
Service Pack 2 below...System?

You were right... running the .exe directly worked. Thanks!!
I guess I should have said "I can find Movie Maker anywhere on my system".
Seems a bit strange that there wouldn't be an icon installed for MM when SP2
is installed. Or maybe there is and I'm not looking in the right places?
Thanks again...

Interesting - I haven't got MM where it should be either - Start>Programs.

You should find the MovieMaker folder
at: C:\Program Files\Movie Maker

If you right click the moviemk.exe file
you can send a shortcut to your desktop.
(Sent to / Desktop {create shortcut})

Also you can drag/drop the link in your...
Start / All Programs list.

Hi John

MM is in the appropriate path. I've put it into Start>Programs. Puzzled as
to why it wasn't there!!
