Windows messenger start

I have several users on my computer all wanting to use messenger. How do I
stop it from signing in automatically when I turn it on. We used to have to
click the sign in button a type a password?

every time you log on in your computer the messenger pop up in the middle of
the screan or login automatically to fix this: >>>>>start the messenger go to
tools, options, go to general and uncheck the box "Automatically run
messenger when I log on to windows", and the box "Allow automatic sign in
when connected to the internet exit with OK and restart computer....
