Windows Media Player 10

On the Privacy Tab of Tools/Options in WMP10, the 1st two settings of
'Enhanced Playback and Device Experience' are greyed out & not checked. I
tried changing various other settings ( IE Privacy Settings & 'Connect to the
Internet' checked on Player Tab) to enable me to select these settings but no
luck.

Can anyone suggest what I must do so that I can check these options? Thank
you.

Open Registry Editor (Regedit.exe) and browse to this key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\WindowsMediaPlayer. Delete
both "PreventCDDVDMetadataRetrieval" and "PreventMusicFileMetadataRetrieval"
values on the right pane, close Registry Editor and open WMP again.
