Windows mail

I have been using Windows Mail with a Vista Home Premium system for a few
months. Mail worked pretty well like Outlook Express for the first two or
three months but lately will not send messages when I tell it to. The
message gets put in the Outbox. When I log off I get a message to the
effect that I have one (or more) messages waiting to be sent and do I want
to send them now? I answer yes and they get sent. Can I fix this? I think
I have all the options set correctly. Thank you, Alan C

Check under: Tools>Options then Send tab and make sure that "Send messages
immediately is checked"

hope this helps

You can give a chance to try to send them sooner by clicking Tools, then
Options, then Send. If there is no check mark in the box before Send
messages immediately, click on this box, then Apply. Click on OK.

Thanks to both of you but I have set both of these things correctly and it
still persists in waiting until I exit Widows Mail. Any more ideas? Thanks
