Hi,

How do I get Windows Mail to stop adding contacts to my contact list?
With every email I get, the person sending it is added to my contacts
whether I reply to that email or not.

Help please.

open up WIMMAIL . . . go to tools . . . options . . . send . . . . unclick
third down . . . to stop having names added to your contact list

Help please.

Click on Tools, then Options, then Receipts. If there's a blue dot in
the circle before Always send a read receipt, click on one of the circles
before one of the other options in this section, then Apply. Click on
Send. If there's a check mark in the box before Automatically put
people I reply to in my Contacts list, click on this box, then Apply.
Click on OK.

My isp guy is blank, he has NO idea why the addresses are showing up and has
no idea why sometimes, and I mean only sometimes the mail will go out... even
changed the smpt nbr and that don;t work... this is really a pain..... So
much for VISTA.

ISP guy just laughed when I asked him that question... Guess this is one of
$1000 questions still un answered.... it don't help to put all of then in the
BCC cause they still come up...... Sure hope someone figures out this answer
real soon. You would think all the bugs, well, these little bugs, would have
been taken care of before it hit the market... Also the fact that you
can't use your 3 year old all in one printer anymore is not to thrilling
either

It looks like it's time to forget about the flaky Windows Mail, and switch
to the newer windows Live Mail.
It has a few more features, and works better than WM.

no you see i have an old computer.. which is now not working so i have got a
new one and set up the same email account though i need all the contact off
the old one?? im stuck and need them like 6 days ago lol

How do you expect to retrieve contacts from a broken computer?
If you had webmail, it will keep your contacts on the server.
Who is your email service provider?

Windows Mail is a program. That doesn't tell us who your mail service provider is.
What is the part of your email address after the @ symbol?
