Windows mail set up

Subject: Startup error

Help! My windows mail is failing me, whenever I try to open it WM I am
greeted by this message

"Windows Mail could not be started. The application was unable to open the
Windows Mail message store. Your Windows Mail mailbox is currently being
used
by another program, such as a virus scanner. Close the program or wait for
it
to complete its operation, then open Windows Mail again.
There are no programs using my Windows Mail besides windows mail itself and
I have done everything I can think of to fix the problem. I am in desperate
need of my email right now and do not need technical problems messing it up.

If you are sure that nothing is accessing your mailbox such as a virus
scanner etc.

Right click the task bar (bottom bar) select Task Manager>Processes
tab>click it twice to show the most CPU intensive processes at the top, look
for and end process for all instances of WinMail.exe.
