There is no login for Windows Mail.
You only need to supply the username and password to access your email
account on the server.

Only your mail provider can help with a forgotten mail account password.

I solved this exact same problem for a friend of mine today. I hope the
following will help you also...

Make sure your details that you have entered into the incoming mail section
when you created the email account are correct and then make sure you apply
them and also tick the box that says remember password, make sure the box
that says log on using secure password authentication is not ticked and then
follow the rest of the instructions as written below.
Open up your windows mail, then go into tools, click on accounts, highlight
your default mail then click on properties, go to servers and under 'outgoing
mail server' it should be ticked if not tick it then click on the box that
says 'settings' then make sure that the box next to 'use same settings as my
incoming mail server' is ticked, then click OK, then click APPLY, then click
OK, then close 'internet accounts' window, and you should be able to use the
windows mail without having to enter details again.

Good luck and i hope this works for you like it did for me with my friends
emails. let me know if this is any use to you. (e-mail address removed)

I recently helped a friend with the same problem so I hope the following
information will help you…..

Open up your windows mail, click on tools and then accounts, highlight the
mail server you use (I.g pop.ntlworld.com) then click on properties and it
opens another window, click on servers and make sure all the details you have
for setting the account up are correct, then make sure the remember password
is ticked, “log on using secure password authentication†should be empty (not
ticked), then make sure “outgoing mail server†is ticked, then go into box
marked settings (on the same page) the box that says USE SAME SETTINGS AS MY
INCOMING MAIL SERVER should be ticked if not tick it, then click OK then
APPLY then OK again, close internet accounts window and you should be able to
use the windows mail without the hassle.

I hope this is of help, please let me know what the outcome is,
(e-mail address removed)

Good Luck

You certainly did not mean us missing your post, once would have been
enough, let alone 5 of the same.

You are totally wrong by the way, thanks for trying.

Leroy and Gary gave the answer.

sorry for putting it more than once but the system kept telling me it did not
go through. why do you say that my response is not right. as long as you have
email address and password, the rest of the info i gave stops the screen from
popping up for signing in.

I agree, as long as you have a username and password, BUT -the original
poster said the following:

"When I log into windows mail I get a box asking for my username and
password
both of which I have forgotten!! Helpppppppppppp lol"

**Forgotten** being the problem, the solution is to contact the ISP.

Thanks for trying to help.

Did you even bother to read the original problem?
Paul had forgotten his password, so nothing you posted would have helped him.
Please leave the problem solving to the experts.
