Windows Mail does not Find Message in Deleted Items

My Windows Mail is not finding any messages that are in my Deleted Items
folder when I Look in: Local Folders with Incude subfolders checked. But
sometimes when I select Look in: Deleted Items, it finds the files I am
looking for. If anyone would provide any explanations as to why this is
happening, it would be greatly appreciated.

With all due respect!

Anything in my deleted items folder, needs to go -- full stop! I do not need
to Look for anything in there.

Did you check while viewing the Deleted Items folder>view menu>current
view>show all messages?

Either that or you are failing to explain your problem clearly?

Get back if I am of the mark.

Sorry. I didn't make it clear that I was doing a search for an old
email>Edit menu>Find>Message - Look in: Local Folders with Included
subfolders box checked. The reason I would like for my search to look in the
Deleted Items folder as well as the other folders is that I may have
accidently "deleted" what I am looking for. Since my search results show the
folder the emails are in, I can ignore those "deleted" email if I so choose.

But I am confident the email is in there not only by the>Edit
menu>Find>Message - Look in: Deleted Items search results but also>view
menu>current view>show all messages shows the messages I was looking for.

So what is keeping the general search from showing what is in Deleted Items?
The bottom status bar indicates that it is searching the Deleted Items
folder when doing the general search.
Thanks a bunch for your input.

I can't reproduce your problem up to now.

You MAY be hitting the bug of hidden messages with View>current view>group
messages by conversation selected? Try searching with that option of in the
Deleted Items folder?

Hmm. It does seem to be a bug of sorts but it doesn't seem to be related to
hidden messages. For when I do a general search for "quotation" in the
Message (body), the email in the Deleted Items folder show up. A search for
"saga" and the same emails are not shown.
