Not sure what kind of point you're trying to make.

That web stats are useless? Incorrect? Just makes one feel good?
Websites that want your Linux statistic will be friendly to your Linux
browser. The unfriendly sites probably don't want your Linux
statistic and are unlikely to be publishing statistics on OS usage.
In any case, I think your spoofing creates a statistical anomaly far
too insignificant to matter anyway.

Of course. I thought that was obvious. Unless you're the third visitor
to the page.

What about those idiots who say 'then' instead of 'than'?

What about those idiots who don't realize that "then" SOUNDS
almost exactly like "than" and use the word "say" instead of
"write"???

Heh. "Say" and "write" are not homophones. You loose. ;-)

I usually search linux forums for hardware info since it more likely to
be complete.

I don't think your spoofing experiment proved any of that, for the
reasons described below.
Of course. I thought that was obvious. Unless you're the third visitor
to the page.

In which case the results are still statistically bogus.

No, I am actually quite uptight. Hippies tend to be loose, but I
am just a loser.

And you missed the point of my statement. It had nothing to with
homophones, just with stupid mistakes.

Kind of like the first sentence of THIS post does.

No excuse for misspelling it buddy. The thanatoid is ever-
spelling-vigilant!

I have to admit that I've only ever seen it misspelt by Americanese
speakers. I agree with you that there is no excuse, and just like the
thanatoid, this Aardvark is always ready, willing and able to pounce upon
unnecessary spelling faux pas.

Ugly, ignorant, and offensive.

All right then! Buds!

I use a system-wide spell checker (which is wonderful but does
not work on XP-Vista NYAH). WHY have 5 copies of the same
program, each one more trouble than the other, and anything can
be attached as attachments that can be attached.

Still, since I have never tried Pegasus I perhaps should just
keep quiet - but hey! it's me!

nPop rules AFAIAC.
