windows live toolbar installed but doesn't appear

I received a fix from microsoft after I installed sp3 & updates quit working,
and also I could not install windows live. The fix seems to have corrected
the problems, but I am having a problem with windows live toolbar. It shows
that it installed, but the toolbar is not actually there. It is in
add/remove programs. I tried clicking view in ie to find & check live
toolbar, but it is not there. I also checked to see if it was disabled in
internet addons, but it is showing as enabled. Anyone know how I can get it
to show up? I have also tried uninstalling & reinstalling it, & that didn't
help either.

If it just appeared in your Inbox it was probably something bad.

Thank you. I emailed microsoft because I was having problems after
installing sp3, they sent me a process to follow via email to get my
automatic updates working again.
