I CANNOT GET A COMPETENT ANSWER FROM "MICROSOFT" CORPORATION REGARDING THE
INABILITY TO "FULLY" RID MY SYSTEM OF TWO FINAL (Older/Outdated) APPLICATIONS
WHICH ARE CREATING MUCH CONFLICT ON MY "XP M.C. Edition" PC.

CURRENTLY, AFTER 7-10 DAYS OF ONGOING MADNESS FROM SNAIL-MAIL SUPPORT FROM
MICROSOFT'S TEAM OF STELLAR EXPERTS, I FINALLY "DID" GET THE NEWEST/UPDATED
"WINDOWS LIVE ESSENTIALS" SOFTWARE BUNDLE (PACKAGE) DOWNLOADED ONTO MY PC.
HOWEVER, AND UNFORTUNATELY, THERE ARE STILL TWO (2) OTHER REMAINING OLDER
APPLICATIONS WHICH ARE NOT BEING UNINSTALLED AND DELETED COMPLETELY. AND ONE
IN PARTICULAR-- "WINDOWS LIVE PHOTO GALLERY" CONTINUES TO GO INTO A
RE-INSTALLATION // CONFIGURATION MODE AT PC BOOT-UP WHICH ENDS UP BOGGING
DOWN MY RESTARTS (Boot-Ups) FOR UP TO APPROXIMATELY 15-20 MINUTES.

*** SO, I ADAMANTLY NEED TO RID AND DESTROY (UNINSTALL COMPLETELY) THESE TWO
FOLLOWING APPLICATIONS FROM MY PC AS THEY ARE CONFIRMED BEING FROM THE
OLDER/OUTDATED WINDOWS LIVE SOFTWARE BUNDLE/PACKAGE:

1) WINDOWS LIVE PHOTO GALLERY
2) WINDOWS LIVE WRITER


NOTE: UNFORTUNATELY, AT THIS PARTICULAR TIME, IT’S OUT OF CAPABLE MEANS TO

They are effecting your 'caps lock' as well.
Have you thought of posting in a more appropriate discussion group[I see you
are using that cranky old web interface] as you have had no answer for some
hours - this may be due to you 'SHOUTING' or your post is OT.

Fix your "busted" Caps Lock key and maybe support would help.

Look for Windows Installer Clean up tool and remove the Windows "Live"
entries that cause your problem.

Why are you SHOUTING?

NB: If Windows Live Mail is installed, see this page first!! =>

1. Uninstall anything named "Windows Live" listed in Add/Remove Programs.

2. Click on the following link and SAVE the download to your desktop:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/2/3/0/23036331-516d-4c7e-b9ac-31554a2fec06/wl-beta-remove.zip

3. Extract the contents of the ZIP file to your desktop.

4. Open the folder created, right-click on the file WL-Beta-Remove.cmd and
select Open; If a security warning is displayed, select Run.

5. A Command Prompt window will be displayed while the program is running
and will automatically close when the program is finished.

6. Delete wl-beta-remove.zip and the folder named wl-beta-remove to the
Recyle Bin.

7. Install the last version of the Windows Live applications you want.
