Windows Installter - Update Manager Disk

What does this mean...

Every time i switch on my pc I see...Preparing to install windows installer
then when I press cancel it goes to another window which says 'the feature
you are trying to install is on a CD Rom and to insert update manager disk,
which I don't have. when I click browse it mentions ISUS?

Now what do I do? After I click cancel about ten times, it will go away.

Do some clean boot troubleshooting to see if you can identify what is
triggering this to happen.
