I am trying to unistall Norton internet serurity program,
Norton system works, and Norton antivirus. I keep getting
an error that Windows installer can't open. Using Windows
XP Home, How can I fix this. There was a virus (24) on
the machine and want unistall Norton Products so I can
get a fresh install and recheck for viruses.

I suggest you first fix the virus problem which is on your machine.You
disable auto protect and recheck it with online virus scanner:-
housecall.trendmicro.com/
and why are you trying to uninstall NIS?Instead update it.

ssg,
I did run the online virus checker, Norton would not
work. That is why I want to uninstall and reinstall all
Norton products. Note: The auto protect was disabled when
I ran the virus check online.
