Windows Installer

Bill

When I load a browser Windows Installer tries to load
another program I don't want (PopUp Killer 1.7). I get
the error message "The feature is on a disk..Insert it.
When I don't I get error 1706, Installer cannot continue.
I click OK and cancel at every opportunity, but it loops
several times, and eventually goes away. Its listed as
installed in the Remove programs list in Settings (OS is
Windows 2000 Pro)but when I try to remove it here I get
Error 1404 "Could not delete key". The final message
is "Fatal Error during installation" and Windows Installer
starts the loop again. Anybody have an idea how to get
rid of it manually?

This should be an e-mail to the makers of pop-up killer, ask'em what key is
this about or what key is it that they use to load it so you would avoid
loading of the program. The rest will probably linger slowing performance
just for the fun of it.
