Windows IE Start Question

It seems like when I start IE 6.0.2800 on my Windows XP
machines at the office and home, I get a white screen and
a message: m/'>here.

When I hit refresh or home again, the my.msn.com (home
page) comes up.

This seems to happen every time IE is loaded and run and,
on occassion, when it has been running in the background
for a while and I hit the Home icon on the IE screen.

Anyone have any idea on why the my.msn.com does not come
up when IE initially loads???

I hear that some spyware and other programs redirect all
Internet access through their servers to track Internet
usage. Could this be part of that???

A small problem; but an irritation every time IE is run.

Try putting:

about:BLANK

as the startup page (Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet Options and the home
page). Let us know if this still does it.

Just to add if there is no problem, simply you can make your home page
blank, and if you're a person who wants Internet Explorer to start
speedily a blank home page can't be beat.

When I hit the button "Use Blank" I get about:blank for
the home page. With that as the home page, when I start
IE I get a totally blank page with about:blank in the IP
address block.

Still seems to be a problem.

Well, I kind of like getting the My Home Page on MSN to
get the local weather, news and stock reports. I tried
using about:blank and get a blank page, which is about
the same as the one line of m/'>here. that I was getting
before. Only before, I could hit the refresh button and
my home page would come up.

Bummer.
