Windows File Checker

Hi. In the process of running a monthly cleaup of my WinXP OS I ran
sfc /scannow as I usually do before running Chkdsk and Defrag. That
went fine.
This time when I rebooted, I also ran from Cmd Prompt the sfc
/purgecache and sfc /scanboot. (because they were there). Now
whenever I reboot, the file checker window opens and start a protected
files check. I have let it run a coupla times, but it never finds
anything and then just closes. Can someone tell me the command to keep
this from happening? Thanks. deango

Thank you so much Andrew !
You guys are amazing.......It was /REVERT by the way.
Just off hand, does it make any difference if you run /scanboot and
/purgecache when optimizing my machine? Regards........deango
