Windows Explorer settings

Simple request (I hope) ... in windows explorer the
default view on my pc (a dell) is large icons .... how can
I change the default view to details for all folders
(rather than going through individual folders & changing
the view on each one)

After setting one folder, in Tools / Folder Options / View
press Apply to all Folders.
