"Windows Explorer has stopped" working error message

Riccardo

In my Vista Enterprise machine, after the SP1 upgrade, when I open the file
manager with a link to explorer.exe or with a click on a folder link on the
desktop, the file manager works normally but when I close it I get a
"Windows Explorer has stopped working" and soon after "Windows Explorer is
restarting..." error messages.
If I open the file manager with the /e switch (like
%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e,c:) everyting is fine.
Is there anyone who can help me?
Thanks Riccardo

Hi, Ricardo

I would advise you to use System Restore to rollback to a date before this
error start happening. At least you'd be able to use your computer properly.
Then try to update again.

Not the answer you'd be expecting, I'm afraid, but at least you'd be able to
use your computer.
