Windows Explorer Default View

Marcus

Hi,

When I open Windows Exolorer it defaults to My Documents. How can I get it
to default to another folder (like the C drive) and maintain the folders and
detail view? I've tried setting "apply to all folders" but it just defaults
back to "My Documents."

Thanks,

Marc

Hi,

Maybe you can help me figure this one out. The default view from programs /
accessories / windows explorer is "My Documents."
I can change it to the C Drive by rewriting the target. But I can't figure
out how to do that without losing the default folders view in the left pane.
Is there any way to default to the c drive (instead of my docs) AND MAINTAIN
THE FOLDERS VIEW in the left pane?
(You used to be able to do this in 98 by view / apply to all.)

Thanks,

Marc
