Windows Download Manager

While trying to "live update" my Samsung phone software, the Windows Download
Manager stopped working. Has anyone any idea why and what I can do please?
(I have Vista Home Basic).

i imagine you mean the save file download window.

sometimes it stops working and you have to redownload. if this happens a lot
try using a proper download manager. there are lots available. i sometimes
use getright. tis a shame it doesn't resume, but then that would be too good
i guess.

however some websites don't like download managers...
