Xplay?????

Running Vista Home Prem 32bit...

Got popup message; Windows Desktop Manager Stopped working, selected check
for solutions Online. Window appeared advising problem caused by
xplay...created by Mediafour...and suggested I download and Install the xplay
Update ver 3.11. I have never heard of Xplay. Since the suggested download
was an Update, I did a search on my PC for Xplay...and it came back with
nothing.

What is this software? Do I need it....should I install it?

I just received the same message. I don't use itunes, but I do have an old
ipod that I simply charge through the USB port (have been for several
months). I've never had this message before, why now?

I don't have an iPod or an iPhone and I never installed this, yet I
get this error too on Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit.

I went to mediafour.com and went to their support page and asked them
how to remove it and explained that I never installed it and don't
want it. I suggest everyone else do the same.

I did this just a few minutes ago, so I don't have a response from
them yet, of course.
