Windows desktop search does not find anything!

I have Windows desktop search installed, set to index email and all HDDs. It
has finished indexing. If I select the option for All Locations, and choose
Documents, and type in the name of a file that I have just verified is in
the My Documents folder, Windows desktop search returns NO, ZERO, ZILCH
results! What is the matter with it?
