Windows Defender will not connect to the Internet

I think that a good many of the "will not update" messages here come from
corporate machines who are running the beta against admin policy.

Hi Bill

This is not an "admin policy", it should be a written
"Corporate policy" signed from the management how to handle IT issues.

Don´t "hang the admin"...... ;) I do know that in some companys the
IT department got it wrong and think they run a company ;)

Some companys then splits the IT people and integrates them better
within the organisation to make them to understand how it works.

But this must be a "Corprate policy" within a "quality company".

Spending work hours to solve Beta problems ..... total anarchy ;)

Also, can you check the windowsupdate.log located at c:\windows for other
clues?
