"WIndows could not search for new updates"

When I try to run Windows Update, I get the above message. It was working
fine before yesterday. Automatic updates downloaded and installed new
updates today.

I've not changed any of the settings.

All other internet activity is fine.

Is your computer part of a domain where wsus is deployed?
