Windows...computer disk hardware configuration problem

J

John Sedlak

Hello,

I recently switched my computer to a new case and a new cpu fan and
power supply. When I boot up I get this message:

Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware
configuration problem.
Could not read from the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk
hardware.
Please check the Windows documentation about hardware disk
configuration and your hardware reference manuals for additional
information.

I checked Google Groups and was able to find
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;314477 but I
cannot boot at all. I cannot boot from a CD or a hard drive. Nothing
on that site seems possible.

So what should I do?
