Windows Activation

I have purchased a WinPVR capture device and a new video card.

Can I install both of these (vid card would be a seond card in the system -
not replacing the original) at the same time without re-activating?

I believe that part of the "Hash" includes video cards, scsi cards etc. But
I can't seem to find anything about the Capture Device.

Thanks

Most likely, yes. Otherwise, re-activate the system by phone.

Correct. See also http://www.aumha.org/win5/a/wpa.php

Thanks.

I installed the Vid card - no problem. Then (being brave OR stupid) I
installed the WinPVR - no Problem. Apparently (from other web posts) devices
like WinPVR are not considered a "Key" item that gets included in the "Hash
Count".

Also, adding a "Second" video card does not alter the "Hash Count". So long
as the "Primary Vid Card" is in the system all is well. A tech note:
apparently, if adding a second vid card - DO NOT disable the primary (or
first) one in Device MGR. The hash process considers this as a NO - NO and
if "TOO MANY" changes are identified - re-activate.

So all appears to be well.

Thanks again...

Cheers.
