windows 98 cannot view other workstations within the same workgroup

can anybody help me in identifying the problem,i have a windows 2003 server and windows 2000, win xp and win 98 workstations. All of win2000 and xp are linked to one another except win 98. But i can see the file server from my win98. the message everytime i click on the workstation is The logon server could not be found.
