The description stated that it does not scan or clean
spyware. It just prevent them from being installed onto a
computer. That's not the same as MSAS.

I dont know about win 98 but go to cnet downloads get

adare se, spybot shearch and distory, spyware blastre,
and win patroll. they work good my old computer has win
98 and they work just fine
