Windows 2k reboot after updates

This morning, our office received 5 phone calls from users whose
Windows 2k PCs had gone into a relentless blue screen/ reboot cycle.
We are relieved to know that it's a result of Windows updates and not
a worm or virus. We aren't sure how many more Win2k PCs we have out in
the field, but we're calling this our Win2k roundup...more to come for
sure.

We have the same prorblem. All W2k pc went into a boot loop after updates
installed. We are running a repair using the CD. After the repair some are
fine and some will boot to a blue screen with the mouse pointer. At this
point do a Ctl-alt-del....task list.....run new task they type explorer.exe
to start the icons up. WHERE IS THE FIX MSFT???????? This is caused by one of
your patches. At least let us know what update is causing this so we can
remove it. OR....you could fix it
