Windows 2000 Server help !!

Once a Windows 2000 Server is setup, is there a way to go back and change
the forest type, or do I need to start over and restage the server. I have 5
Windows 2000 Server, all have different domain names and independent of one
another. I am in the process of setting up a Exchange 2000 Server and
instead of having to create all new accounts, I would like to use their
accounts from each domain. So, I think the way to accomplish this is make
sure all the domains are on the same forest, is this correct ? Any help is
greatly appreciated.

You can do that but I would try using trust to see if you can get by with
that.
