Windows 2000 Server Doesn't detect SCSI drives

I'm attempting to install Windows 2000 Server on 2 SCSI drives that are
hooked up to an Adaptec AAA-131U2 RAID Controller. For some reason, Windows
doesn't recognize the drives. The RAID controller sees them and I also did
the whole F6 process and and loaded the correct driver for the controller in
the beginning of the installation. Any other ideas that I could try would be
appreciated.

You were probably late in hitting F6. Have you configured the array in
controller bios? You'll want to boot the Windows 2000 setup disks or CD-Rom.
The set of four install disks can be created from your Windows 2000 CD-Rom;
change to the \bootdisk directory on the CD-Rom and execute makeboot.exe
(from dos) or makebt32.exe (from 32 bit) and follow the prompts.

Then *F6* very early and very important (at setup is inspecting your system)
in the setup to prevent drive controller detection, and select S to specify
additional drivers. Then later you'll be prompted to insert the manufacturer
supplied Windows 2000 driver for your raid controller in drive "A"

If you wait and then S to specify additional drivers, then it may be too
late as Windows 2000 Setup at this point may have already assigned the
resources your drive's controller is wanting to use.

When you get to the point, delete the existing NTFS and or other partitions
found. After you delete the partition(s) abort the install, then again
restart the pc booting the CD-Rom or setup disks to avoid unexpected drive
letter assignments with your new install.

I wish it was that simple. Unfortunately, I wasn't late in hitting F6. I went
through the whole process of hitting F6 and then specifying additional
drivers.

Without any additional info there's no way for us to know.

The exact text of any error messages received may help. You also didn't tell
us whether the array configuration in controller bios has been done. You may
also want to verify that the scsi bus is correctly terminated, that the
drive jumpers are correct, that no duplicate drive ID's exist, and that a
boot device been set in controller bios.
