One of the servers that i am administrating was hit by viruses last week.
We'd managed to clear the infestation but now the Windows 2000 server keeps
on crashing. A square window keeps popping up at every reboot. The error
message on the pop-up says :
"The system process 'c:\winnt\system32services.exe' terminated unexpectedly
with status code 259. The system will now shut down and restart."
And there is a countdown timer counting down from 60 secs. This incident
reminded me of the blaster worm. But all remedies for it has not helped. I
tried to search what "Code 259" means but without success. Any information
that could help me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
