Internet Explorer:
"If you have installed Windows Internet Explorer® 7 or a beta version of
Internet Explorer 8, and then install Windows XP SP3, you cannot uninstall
Internet Explorer. To avoid this, ensure Internet Explorer 7 or a beta
version of Internet Explorer 8 is not installed before installing Windows XP
SP3. If you have already encountered this issue, uninstall Windows XP SP3,
uninstall Internet Explorer, and then reinstall Windows XP SP3."

Windows XP Media Center Edition 2002:
"If you install Windows XP SP3 on a computer running Windows XP Media Center
Edition 2002 with SP1, Windows XP Media Center Edition may malfunction. To
avoid this, install Windows XP SP2 before you install Windows XP SP3. If
this issue has already occurred, uninstall Windows XP SP3, install Windows
XP SP2, and then reinstall Windows XP SP3."

It seems some people are unable to get further updates after installing
SP3... Seems some have experienced a symptom similar to doing a repair
installation on Windows XP - and the same fix seems to work for them for
that...

If you updated to Internet Explorer 7 (you seem to have done this) and you
now install SP3 - you will be unable to uninstall IE7 and revert back to
IE6.

If this is not a problem - then you have nothing to worry over.

If you think you will need to have the ability to uninstall IE7 and go back
to IE6 - then you need to uninstall IE7 before updating, install SP3, then
install IE7 after SP3 is up and running. This way you can roll-back to IE6
still.

I have heard that some machines exploded when they installed Windows XP SP3. Also, Prime Minister of Israel is
under serious trouble for accepting bribes and this too is because of SP3 he recently installed on his system.
Senator Obama may be confirmed a democrat candidate to be the next President of the World. This too is all
because he was stupid enough to install SP3 on his system.

Now you know what SP3 is all about. If you install it, then this world will crash with an alien planet so don't
ever install it on your system.
