Window Server 2003 Clients

I have a windows enterprise server 2003 sp1 and about 10 xp and xp pro
clients that I would like to have access the server. Do I have to have a
terminal server? And if I do does that mean I have to buy terminal server
licenses? Or is there another way to access the server? I have an
application running on the server that I need people to get too.

Hello Ron,

Is the server a domain controller or standalone? What kind of application?
Has a user really work with a logged in account or is it only a database
file which you maybe can use over a shared folder?

Best regards

Meinolf,

The server is a standalone and the application is a commercial application
that I have 4 client licenses for. It is written in Access and is an actual
application not a database file that I can share. It worked fine until I up
graded to sp2.

Hello Ron,

You did not talk about that you upgrade to SP2 before the problem starts,
so if it was no problem before, check the event viewer on a client and the
server for errors and warnings. And how is the problem shown?

Best regards
