window opening size

can someone help me? when i open a new application the new window opens in
the minimised size, and i have a small screen, so i would rather it opened in
the full screen size.

Right-click the shortcut that launches the application and select
properties.
Run > select maximized

Hello. Try dragging the sides and top of each window to fit your monitor, then,
close that window. Now go to your "Display" icon in the control panel,then
to settings.
There you can adjust your settings...800X600...etc. Hope this helps.
