Winamp

Hi,

I've been having problems with my Winamp player. I try to
open it and an error message pops up "Winamp3 has
encountered a problem and needs to close..."
I uninstalled winamp the last time it happened and
reinstalled it....but now this problem is occuring again.
Any idea of what is wrong or how i can fix it?

Lots of people had problems with Winamp 3.x. You may be better off
uninstalling it and grabbing the new version 5.x from their site:
http://www.winamp.com/player/index.php The other alternative is to use
Winamp version 2.91, which is very stable. Although no longer available at
winamp.com, it can be found here:
http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=winamp It's the one I use and I
feel no need to upgrade to 5.x.
