Win32/XPAntiVirus

Windows Defender found the malware Win32/XPAntiVirus on my system but is
unable to remove it giving the error message 0.80501001 One or More actions
could not be completed sucessfully.

Any help removing this would be appreciated. I am also running SpyBot and
AVG neither of which even detect this

Download and run HijackThis;

Read this Tutorial *before* first use;

Once done > run HijackThis > save a scan log and post it to /any/ of the

Post back the URL where you posted your log, *not* the entire log.

you can also try downloading superantispyware
at superantispyware.com

there is a free version
install it- update it and do a full scan
