su su

hi there.

when I type 'msconfig' in start/run, it gives me the
following message, quote:-

cannot find the file "msconfig(or one of its components).
Make sure the path and the filename are correct and that
all the required libraries are available"

when i use the windows explorer to do a search, the result
is "there are no results to display".

can any one help?

But Microsoft brought it back agin for XP

It must be good for something....

There are several sites you can download msconfig for XP, but the
best thing is to get a copy from the XP CD. It works fine on win2K.

It did not appear in NT based operating systems until XP. In other words
it was only put into the consumer OS's, not professional OS's.

You can also download it from:

It works fine - there are a number of other very useful
utilities on the site
