Win2003 Servers

Chris Leitch

Two Win2003 servers as domain controllers. Will only
have W2K3 domain controllers. Choose "Permissions
compatible only with Windows 2000 or Windows .NET server
operating systems"
Active Directory Domains and Trusts list current
functional level as "Windows 2000 mixed"???
Last-logon-timestamp not replicating because functional
level is W2K mixed???
Know problems raising functional level?
Second domain controller is a GC. When viewing the
properties page for an user object, the following tabs
are missing "Published Certificates" "Security" "Object"
why? thanks...chris

If you don't plan on using any Windows 2000 server as DC then you can raise
domain/forest functionality level to 2003.
For those tabs to appear enable Advanced View in View menu of AD Users and
computers.
