WIN XP language

How can I change the language of my WINXP? the problem
appeared when I tried to install SP2 for XP. I have win
XP in russian. After the files were extracted, the
following error occured: setup cannot update your WinXP
files because the language installed on yor system is
different from the update language. How can I repair this
error? Can I chnge the lnguage of my WinXP? I would like
to change it into English without loosing any of my
present win setups, updates... or having to reinstal
another version of WinXP. Thanks

Hi

You can't change the Language of XP. You will need to purchase a full
English retail version.

Just like one cannot change a German Shepard into a French Poodle
by feeding the German Shepard a steady diet of French Bread and Brie,
one cannot change the language version of Windows XP.

Windows XP is written in specific language versions, therefore one
cannot change it from one language version to another. You'll need
to purchase a "Full Version" of Windows XP in the language version
you desire, reformat your drive and install it "clean".

Or if you have an available empty drive or partition, you can install
another "Full Version" of Windows XP in a different language version
and create a dual-boot configuration.
