WIN.SYS32.MISSING OR CORRUPT

I posted this earlier and should elaborate.My computer
lost power during sytem restore.after that it would not
start my windows xp pro.I have gotten as far as the
repair but i dont know which commands to put in.any
help...thanks again.

Boot from the XP CD.... when the message appears on screen

Press a Key to Boot from CD......

press a key. Any key. Spacebar will do.

Ignore the F2 for the Repair Console. Go through the F8 to accept the EULA.
XP will look for and find itself on the hard drive. It will then offer a
Repair Installation.

It should not affect any other programs, documents etc on your PC. It will
however necessitate the re-download and re-installation of any updates,
hotfixes and SP1 (if your version of XP does not include SP1).
