Will XP SP2 Slipstream CD work w/files renamed?

I made a WIN XP & SP2 slipstream CD with Easy CD Creator
5. Several times I got a notice that a file name had to
be changed to agree with the 8.3 naming convention. Will
this CD still work with the file names changed?

Thanks,
Phil

Well, other than saying that "shouldn't have happened" and suggesting you
try a different CD Burning application to burn your next slipstreamed CD - I
will say I doubt it will work 100% - you may have no problem installing most
of the system, then again, it might drop out on you early.. But I am fairly
certain the files need to have their original name.

Do a Google search for Autostreamer and make sure you use "Burn from Disc
Image" when using EZCD Creator.

Bobby,

I tried Autostreamer. It seems to have worked. I'll
know tomorrow, when I try to install XP. Thanks,
Phil
