Hello everybody,

I want to slipstream a Hungarian xp home edition and an English sp2 fix. I am following the help from here:
http://www.theeldergeek.com/slipstreamed_xpsp2_cd.htm

I am trying it for the second time.

An error occurs when I want to update it. Message says that language type or platform for original xp and sp2 must be the same.

For the first time I have changed the language value type to "00E" as jotted in the aspnet_perf.ini file. So I could go on. So the problem was that the cd could not be burn completely. At the end it said that cd could not be closed properly.

I am waiting for your help. thanks.

Hiya,

Maybe a stupid question(appologies in advance if it is! :) Is there any particular reason your using a hungarian XP Cd, if so is there any reason why you don't slipstream it with the Hungraian SP2, which can be found at the following link:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...be-3b8e-4f30-8245-9e368d3cdb5a&DisplayLang=hu

I believe this is the version for IT Pro's eg the full installer package(appologies again if it's not, my Hungarian's not to great!)

Hope that helps.

Thank You Mike,

I have combined it with the Hungarian version and it works.

Good luck!
