Will I lose partitions?

Currently running Windows 98SE but would like to install XP Pro.
My HD is partitioned with drives C,D,E,F,G,H and I.
Can I clean installed XP Pro on drive C without losing the other partitions?

In Windows Explorer, label the drive, if it isn't already. You will need a
minimum of 5GB for the XP partition. Move files over to other partitions if
necessary. Boot from the Windows XP CD. Choose to do a fresh install. Don't
delete or create partitions if it isn't necessary. Format the drive you've
labeled as NTFS, not quick. Follow the prompts.
**Backup up any important data first**

Siimply put: YES.

That is if and only if you don't screw with any of the other
partitions during setup.
